Psalm 23 (Part IV)

"The Lord is my shepherd...leads me beside quiet waters..."

Water determines the vitality, strength and vigor of the sheep and is essential to its health and general well-being. Spiritually speaking, this is also true for us. In the Beatitues, Jesus said, "Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied" (Matthew 5.6) So when you thirst of God, where do you go to be filled? Jesus said, "If any man is thristy, let him come to Me and drink" (John 7.37)
