Psalm 23 (Part II)

"The Lord is my shepherd,
I shall not want"

As the sheep know that the shepherd is always there for them, David says that the Creator of the universe is taking care of all his needs. The word "Lord" here is the Hebrew "to be." When God said to Moses "My name is 'I AM,'" He used the word, Yehovah (which we have come to know as Jehovah.) Jehovah means to "to be; to exist."

The Lord Is My Shepherd. Dan Hayden.

Why to be afraid? God is here to give you all what you need. Just tell Him, He will hear and provide according to His wisdom.
